Visiting and departing
to SONEKA

- How can I reach the hotel from New Chitose Airport / JR Kitahiroshima Station / JR Sapporo Station?
- (1) A free shuttle service is available upon advance reservation. Please make reservations at least one month in advance.
(2) By rental car: It takes about 35 minutes from the New Chitose Airport IC via Wattsu PA on the Hokkaido Expressway.

- For guests using JR
- (1) From JR Sapporo Station to JR Kitahiroshima Station (Rapid Airport: approx. 18 min.) + approx. 15 min. by cab.
(2) From JR New Chitose Airport Station to JR Kitahiroshima Station (Rapid Airport, approx. 28 min.) + approx. 15 min. by cab.
There is no shuttle service to and from our facility. We can arrange for a hired car for a fee so please make a request in advance.

- Is there parking available?
- There are free outdoor parking spaces for up to two cars per building. There are 20 free outdoor parking spaces available on the premises.
If you are planning to arrive by car, please let us know the number of cars and estimated time of arrival and departure in advance.

- Can I send my luggage to the hotel in advance?
- Please send your luggage to the address below after booking your stay. We will keep your luggage at our facility from up to five days prior to your check-in date until your arrival. Please be sure to indicate the name of the person making the reservation and the date of arrival.

- What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
If you plan to arrive after 9:00 p.m., please contact us in advance.

- Can I check-in early and check-out late?
- Since there are only four guest rooms, early check-in and late check-out are not available.
If you arrive before your room is ready, you can leave your luggage with us.
We can also keep your luggage for you after check-out. If it is absolutely necessary to use the room, you will be asked to pay for an additional night.

- What is the room cancellation policy?
- 10% from 28 to 15 days prior to the date of arrival, 20% from 14 to 8 days prior to the date of arrival, 30% from 7 to 4 days prior to the date of arrival, 50% from 3 days prior to the date of arrival, 70% from 2 days prior to the date of arrival, and 100% on the day of arrival or in case of no-show

- Are there any restrictions on accommodations for children?
- We do not accept accommodation for pre-school children. We accept children from 6 years old and up.

- What are the children's rates for meals?
- Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are charged 50% of the adult rate.

- Are there smoking rooms available?
- Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings. Please smoke outside the building in designated areas with ashtrays. If you are found smoking in your room, you will be charged a penalty fee.

- How can I change my reservation?
- If you have made a reservation through a reservation website, please contact the website directly.br>If you have made a reservation directly with the hotel, please change your reservation through the reservation page of our website.

- Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
- We apologize, but due to the structure of the buildings, we are not wheelchair accessible.

- Are pets allowed in the facility?
- We apologize, but we do not allow pets in our facility. However, service dogs are allowed. Please provide a certificate for your service dog when making a reservation.

- Are there any housekeeping services available during my stay at SONEKA?
- We will collect garbage, change towels, and replenish amenities in all guest rooms on a daily basis.
In addition, sheets will be changed, guests rooms will be vacuumed, and toilets/bathrooms will be cleaned every two days.
Please request daily sheet changes, vacuuming, and toilet/bathroom cleaning upon check-in.

- Is it possible to accommodate anniversaries?

During my stay at SONEKA

- Is free Wi-Fi available?
- Yes. Wi-Fi is available free of charge for guests. You will be given a password upon check-in.

- Do you offer ski/snowboard rentals or lessons?
- The facility does not have a ski area. Private lessons are available at nearby ski resorts.

- Are the facilities available to non-guests?
- The facilities are only available to guests staying at the hotel. However, meals accompanied by guests are accepted with prior notice.

- Can foreign currency be exchanged at the facility?
- We do not offer foreign currency exchange services. We recommend that you exchange foreign currency at the airport.

- How do I settle my account at check-out?
- Only credit cards are accepted for payment. We do not accept cash.
We accept credit cards affiliated with VISA, Master, American Express, JCB, and Diners.

- If I have particular dietary requirements, such as allergies, can I request a special meal?
- We will do our best to accommodate your particular dietary needs. Please inform the hotel staff when making your reservation.

- Are there humidifiers available in the guest rooms?
- Humidifiers are available in the guest rooms.

- Is room service available?
- Basic room service is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

- Where can I find lost or forgotten items?
- Lost or forgotten items will be kept for 30 days. All items will be disposed of after that time.
Food will be disposed of after check-out. Please contact us at info@sonaka-hokkaido.com for inquiries regarding lost or forgotten items.

- Is there laundry available?
- Yes. Washing machines are available in each guest room that guests can use on their own. Additional fees will be charged for off-site laundry services.

- Can I bring in food and drinks or prepare food in my room?
- Yes. Cooking utensils are available in the kitchen of the living quarters for your personal use.
