Set in a Meiji-era sake brewery designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Kobayashi Shuzo has long and consistently pursued the answer to one question:
“What is a local sake that can only be brewed in Hokkaido?”
With quality over quantity as its foundation and the motto “The brewers, the rice and the water — all from Hokkaido,” Kobayashi Shuzo devotes itself to crafting the truest of local sake.
This is a fully reservation-only, private tour of the brewery.

Tours start between 10:00 and 15:00

180 minutes including travel time (tour approx. 40 minutes)

Fee

Brewery tour: ¥10,000 per group
Transfer: ¥30,000 per vehicle (up to 5 people) for 3 hours (round-trip transfer between SONEKA and the brewery, drinks included)
*Transfer extension: ¥5,500 per 30 minutes
An interpreter can be arranged for ¥15,000.
*All prices include tax and an arrangement fee.

The brewery tour, transfer and interpreter fees are settled at check-out.
*Payment at SONEKA is by credit card only.

・Tours may not be possible depending on the brewery’s circumstances.
・Guests under 20 years of age are not permitted to taste sake. Soft drink tastings are not available.
・Purchases at the brewery shop are to be paid on site.
