In August 2024, SONEKA quietly opened in the forest of Wattsu,
located about 30 minutes from Sapporo, Hokkaido.
The site is a completely different world from the main road that surrounds it.
Previously a neglected forest covering 77,000㎡, fallen trees were cleared
and thinned to create a land where trees can come back to life.
With only four villas surrounded by trees, the grassy field in front
is a fallow farmland with an unobstructed view of Mt. Eniwa in the distance.
